Curious Animals

For the nearest semblance of a print of Oxen Studios Int (starring embryonic Shawn and a video-skyping Emilee), buy the November issue of Alternative Press for a full page of this, and another page of featured Oxen works.

Here's a peak-- our poster for the forthcoming Oxen-illustrated epic musical Razia's Shadow...

AND- new Matches album out in March, of course depicted through the minds, pens and HDV cameras of Oxen.

In Southampton, off to acquire airhorns, a squirtgun, first aid kit, maracas, and an umbrella...

ps. We flipped on a television and saw the Matches' Salty Eyes video on MTVflux in London. If you've not yet enjoyed our Oxen co-directorial debut with M.Coleman and the Wizard, do so now!

Hi-fives ensued in multiples.

I was reading that article at Borders a couple weeks ago. I'm currently going to school for graphic design, so it gave me a little hope and motivation knowing that you as well went to school for art.

can't wait to hear more about the album!

Somewhat intrigued about why you were to acquire such strange things, in Southampton of all places? Enlighten us?

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.

Glad to finally see an update!
I love that article in AP, as well as the new one in the January issue about A Band In Hope.
I am absolutely in love with that picture. That flag blows me away.
And from all I hear about this new video, I get more and more excited. Maracas! London won't know what hit them!
Got to love that Spanish spam-bot!

Gah, I'm amazed by all the stuff from You and Emilee...
That womb one came out so great, the walls and veins look so real. It's gorgeous.

I love everything about the new AP article also, the concept of the picture fits so perfectly too. The flag, the picture, everything... just, wow.

Can't wait to see more of it...

Honestly, the two of you have entirely too much talent to be humans. I'm incredibly jealous.

What I wanted to ask, though, was when are we going to get more information about Razia's Shadow?
I've been really wondering about it for quite a while now.

Back when your article about your artwork in Alt Press came out I was so excited! I already knew that you were an amazing songwriter/singer, and I have always loved your style. I couldn't pick a favorite out of your songs if I sat and tried for hours. I would probably come up with a list of just about all of them.
When I looked at the article in the magazine I thought to myself, "Is there anything this guy's NOT talented at?!"
Basically, your work inspires me and I can only hope that someday I could create anything as interesting/mysterious/beautiful as you have.

p.s: Can't wait for the new CD to come out!!!
